De Mello’s Restaurant & Bistro is your friendly neighbourhood type of restaurant and bistro. It is usually very crowded especially after 10 p.m. Usually, there will be song performance by Andrew, the owner of the restaurant. At times, special guest artists will also be invited to perform at the restaurant.
On the other hand, De Mello’s Restaurant & Bistro is also equipped with pool table and dart games. Hence, feel free to entertain yourself while having your dinner with your friends and families.
Highly recommended snacks – Commando Chips (fried with anchovies and chili) – quite spicy. According to the owner, Commando Chips used to be very popular in the past, where people have them with beers. It’s a unique dish that you can hardly find nowadays.
Curry Dable (Curry Devil) is a famous Portuguese dish. Curry Dable served here is very good. It comes with an exquisite taste of Portuguese dish. You can choose to have them with rice or bread.
Their Sambal Fried Rice and Chicken Wings are also recommended.
The price of the food is very reasonable. Overall, we paid RM30 for the above dishes.
